Walt’s Brain: Buried up to his neck
Sunday, September 28th, 2008In his argument with Gorbo, Fish really hammers home his point! The policeman is less than delighted with the prospect of hauling off Gorbo, though. (Ever wonder about some of the strange people Fission Chicken has brought to the police station?)
For this week’s odd chicken-(and turkey-) related items, here are some clippings from a collection called Headlines… but in addition to headlines, there are ads, notices and so on… many off-center items on a variety of subjects besides chickens.

For this week’s thrilling double feature, here’s the classic Earth vs. The Flying Saucers (1956), with great saucer sequences by Ray Harryhausen! (The stop-motion look really is just the thing to give the saucers that otherworldly touch.)
Here’s one where humans visit a nasty alien on his own turf: Journey to the Seventh Planet (1962), with John Agar! The brain creature, appropriately, plays some real head games on the astronauts.
